Monitoring and automation
Inspect health, configure notifications, manage webhooks and read audit events.
These commands use the same SDK operations, validation and permissions as the control plane.
Pass global --json before the command for structured output.
Health and issues
openship monitoring issues
openship monitoring summary
openship monitoring health
openship monitoring scanIssue results include counts and the engine's recovery actions. Health results include workload state,
scan freshness and watcher capabilities. Scanning requests a current observation; it does not silently
enable recurring work. Authorized instance administrators can use monitoring watch enable or
monitoring watch disable to configure the existing health job. The CLI uses the watcher ID and
capabilities returned by the engine, including Cloud and native restrictions.
project pending <id> and project incidents <id> inspect a specific project. Instance-wide
monitoring rescan and monitoring rescan status require self-hosted administration;
--health-only avoids running infrastructure and update jobs.
Notifications
openship notification categories
openship notification channel create channel.json
openship notification channel test channel_123
openship notification subscription set deploy.failed --channel channel_123
openship notification deliveries list --limit 50A channel file contains its kind, label and provider config, as defined by the notification API.
The channel test command sends a real test notification and exits nonzero if delivery fails.
notification defaults manages organization defaults; subscription manages personal delivery choices.
Incoming webhooks
openship webhook list --project proj_123
openship webhook create webhook.json --project proj_123
openship webhook deliveries --project proj_123 --limit 50The JSON definition selects the name, action and authentication using the shared webhook contract.
Keep returned credential-bearing URLs and secrets private. Use update to change configuration,
rotate --yes to rotate credentials and invoke to execute an action with the caller's permissions.
Delivery pages return nextCursor; pass it as --cursor for the next page.
Audit
openship audit list
openship audit list --query filters.json
openship audit facets
openship audit settings getAudit queries accept the shared filters, dates and pagination fields, for example
{"resourceType":"project","resourceId":"proj_123","limit":50}. Administrators can update logging
and retention with audit settings set <file>.
See the command reference for every argument and option.
