## Self-hosted is free

If you run Openship on your own machine or server, there's **nothing to pay** and
no billing area. You only pay for your own infrastructure (the server, bandwidth,
and any third-party services you choose to run). Openship itself is open source
under the Apache 2.0 license.

## Openship Cloud

The managed option — Openship Cloud — is on the way. When it launches, this page
will cover managing your plan, usage, top-ups, and invoices.
